What Will It Take?

  1. Why o why o why? Why can't we be like Chile? Why can't our central bankers have huevos?

Look at this: little Chile - the lighthouse of South America - has raised interest rates to ten year highs. They are trying to keep inflation down to 3%.

And look at their stats: they're whipping up on American across the board:

Here's my real question: what will it take for the U.S. to get its act together? Is that even possible now?

Or, put another way, is America simply too powerful and too political to ever be well run economically again??

Amerika is not great now... and never will be again.

We owe EVERYBODY and are reneging on our obligations. How can that be great?

Much of the greatness that came out of America was from the culture of working hard, pride in your work, your family, your country. We no longer have that, and without it we wont be great again. Asia has that in spades. America is a sick old man.
