Lada Riva 1300 1989 left hand drive (steering wheel on the right! ) I bought it together with a friend of mine for £250, not even including the spare tyre because could not afford it, LOL. We drove it all the way from London to the USSR for kicks! Ah! Those were the worry-free days. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Riva.jpeg
Forgot to mention my (in Calif) 1973 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron, with a 440Cu In. engine and the heaviest thing I have ever driven, barring a tank perhaps. Don
Don, I have to say that's the most eclectic collection of cars I've ever seen. Were you searching for a self-identity? Have you found it? And how did you fit in a 1968 Sprint?
1973 Barracuda, awesome car and I still have fond memories of it. For it's time it was a good car. I know the owner who bought it from me and he still has it, and it looks perfect and still runs good. It's probably worth $50,000 now. How many of you can say that about a 1970's jap-crap mobile?
Still searching, as most of us are...when we "find it" - we will probably have forgotten why and what we were looking for. Obviously 100 pounds lighter "back in my Marine Corps days". Don
66 Mustang - Best stock car of the 60's. My Dad had an original that he bought, I believe, for $3,300.
Nissan Sentra. Drove it 8 years until some bitch T-boned me in a parking lot of all places -- sold it to my Puerto Rican secretary's husband who was the original ride-pimper. The Camry lasted 10 years, donated that, and now a lovely 2000 Isuzu Trooper soon to be seized.
LOL... the old clorox bleach under the rear tires for that added smoke effect. Brings back a few memories
1997 Acura 1.6 EL (Canadian Manufactured car not made in the states) 2003 BMW 330 Convertible, brand new...paid cash (big mistake) 2006 Lexus LS430 (Big Poppa car)
