What tools do you use to keep track of your trades?

  1. Hi,

Is everyone using MS Excel (or doesn't keep a record at all :( ) or are there ohter software/web-based services that are easy to handle and give you everything (or parts) a (day-)trader wants?
I am especially looking for a software:
    * providing an easy way to group multiple entrys and exits to a single Trade (or do it automatically)
    * automatically giving you a chart with entrys/exits marked on it w/suitabe or chooseable timeframes
    * the possibility to tag/label Trades (e.g. breakout, coutertrend, ...)
    * that automatically calculates the biggest intraday-drawdown of every trade (thru looking up the data of the traded security)
    * that calculates Profit factor, sharpe ratio, etc.
    ...

Does such software exist or do i have to code everything into MS Excel to get what i want?

    Thanks in advance,

    rookie

  2. I've got an MS sheet that I've been using and modifying.

It just tracks instrument, entry/exit time, entry/exit price, cummulative P/L per day, and total, and with commissions.

I use for futures so it's not very detailed. I have like another I've used for options, it's a bit more complex.
