I tell them I play the market. If they want to take the conversation further I tell them about my losses.

 

This same topic comes up on Slashdot a lot. People think their jobs are more interesting than they are.

Most people don't care what you do. And those that do will only care if you are super successful (like top .1%).

 

If so it would be even worse than a multi nick, it would be a sock puppet, as he had a conversation with it on another thread.
