It's not a small refund. The middle-class and poor get NOTHING. The total amount is divided among those (much fewer) at the top who are not going to waste it but use it to create jobs. It then trickles down. Anything more is a democrat welfare check.
the 145 bill will either have to printed or borrowed.... printed, swapped for oil and then borrowed back....with interest
I do not know details of the plan. Still can't find news on the specifics. I assumed it was for lower incomes. $800 per person is not small??? That's about $2.25 per day. Trickle down is such a nice phrase. But no one ever seems to be able to explain it in detail how it works because it doesn't. Nobody likes welfare, not when the democrats give it to poor people and not when so called Republicans give it to big business.
The money should go to the highest-value providers. That is why CEO's and top executives make so much more than the rank-and-file. Because they provide the high-value good decisions that keep the company strong.
If you think that was bad wait till you get Hillary's socialized medicine. You want to stimulate the economy cut taxes, let you keep more of what you earn. What a concept. And while you're waxing about economics, it may interest you to know that the national debt incurred while Reagan and the Bushes were in office accounts for about 70% of the national debt since 1776. That's just 3 Republican presidents! The Bushes alone account for over 50%. [/B][/QUOTE]
I am speechless. Can we vote for the best quotes of all time here on ET? Sort of like the Citibank executives. What world did you grow up in? You must be very young or very old.
You know what the "highest-value providers" will do with any extra money they get? SHORT THIS MARKET!!!!!!!!
