When Trump put on the lumber tariffs term one it led to a massive rally in Cdn lumber stocks. I've been doing well on commodity stocks this month ( copper, silver; even some Oil stocks bounced hard on positive news ). Not entirely sure how it will play out but it can be traded.

 

Exactly, Doomsday Prepers never seem to understand that humanity is past the point of revolution. The powers that have made sure that the boat doesn't tip too much. Gold is good! Rice can be kept for a very long time. Toilet paper is a must. Being a cheap bastard comes in handy when times are lean.

As to the current outlook I don't think that the boat is in equilibrium and severe shockwaves are coming.
