What happened just a few minutes ago? There was a massive spike in the Nasdaq, as well as most large cap software MERQ RATL ORCL PSFT SEBL QSFT VRTS.

Don't tell me Knight had a glitch on the buy side this time?!

that's just every day stuff, happens all the time.

u should see a 100 point spike... then u should really #%^$$ swear.

 

no. it was a spike that was big for today's range and it came out of nowhere. I watch the cash...how can the futures have done nothing?

It was so sudden I thought it might be a bad tick or some other malfuntion.

 

i only watch the 45 minute chart, so I couldn't even tell there was a spike by glancing at it.

i guess on the 1 min chart it deserves a second glance.

 

CNBC said it was program buying. I am wondering what is the trigger too.

 

whatever it was it woke me up.
