What The Bleep Do We Know?

Discussion in 'Psychology' started by Kensho, Apr 1, 2006.

  1. Possibly, but treat it purely as entertainment. But one might very well read a little analysis of it as well. Remember that the "big lies" that are best are the ones that we want to believe (it worked for Hitler). Read the ABC article if you want to get a grip on reality :)

Like the delightful Jonathan Livingston Seagull its a work of fiction packaged to take a few dollars from those who enjoy it.

  2. Thanks Kiwi.

I went to see "Down the rabbit hole" a couple of months ago at a special screening.

I agree that there is a lot to question about what the movie invokes, but I loved every second of it just because I am a firm believer that we do in fact "create our own reality" if we choose to.

After the screening, this girl suggested I take a look at "the secret". Another movie made by (what it seems) Esther and her friends.

All I can say is that if you believe you can shape your life, world and future, and that each of us has to power to do so, see this movie, many times, it will help you stay focused in your objective whatever that may be.

I am really very happy I came across it because it cleared a lot of mental garbage I had been carrying with me for years. I am not into religions or cults or whatever, and hate when people become fixated with a certain person or religion or cult.

So even though I fully recommend this movie, it is not for everyone. It is for those who truly believe in the power of the mind. I do.

    Cheers !!!

p.s.: the money I spent by buying "the secret" has been one of the best money I have spent. If it makes them rich or richer, so be it, it is a great product.

  3. Absolutely the right attitude Optionpro. I felt a little like someone telling the kids that Santa Claus was really Dad when I put that post together so its good to see how one can accept that the "science" is very pseudo and gain from the story.

Something you might also enjoy in the mental garbage removal area is a book, "The Sedona Method."
