Is there a quant guy on board. or perhaps someone who knows how to use a Bloomberg, who can tell me what U.S. traded equity has the highest serial correlation to that smoking hot, high flying disco Euro trash. Maybe Germany beating U.S. today was the blow off top?
a bet on the euro is a reverse bet on the dollar. Look for global companies that have their P&L affected by currency trends. Importers want strength to lower costs on what they buy, Exporters want weakness to raise foreign currency value for what they sell. Most of those guys hedge though, which makes it a tougher call as to who will benefit from what. maybe just easier to open a futures account p.s. no offense if that was low level stuff u already knew p.p.s. i am not a quant and i don't have a bloomberg, so apologies if i overstepped my bounds
