For many years I didn't even use calendars and my annual organizers were piling up on a shelf at work. Probably a sign I wasn't very important. Ironically as I get older, I now use my phone calendar dutifully and become grumpy when my wife throws me curves with unexpected events. I still don't do sticky notes though...
I use sticky's every now and again. I added one maybe about 3 months ago prior October, (now discarded) "Don't add any more positions", but I still did - just a lot more cautiously and I did slow the buying down a bit. My buying recently has slowed again for another reason, getting near fully in, only about $60k left in kitty. Anyhow I added another sticky note today, I'll show a pic later, few days time, there's a bit of a story to the reason for the sticky, just wanted to hear other stories and ideas first.
I have two stickers. None of them are females, unfortunately. One is a list of my account login IDs. I have several and I do not want to get in my Outlook to check them. Another note is "stop loss". Risk management is the king of trading.
I used to have sticky notes like "Next 1000 trades" and other stuff to help deal with drawdowns and continue pulling the trigger, but after taking so many trades and coming out of so many drawdowns, I don't really need them anymore.
%% I like them; used wisely in my trading notebook. YELLOW is a color that helps alertness I have handrawn a candle chart on them before................................................ Good reminder =trend =friend; but most of my charts show that better than a yellow note.
So I have a bunch of these small "VukGrips" stickers that baseball players put on their bats (or can be used on hockey / lacrosse sticks, etc.). On the corners of my 2 monitors I have Faith, Trust, Believe, Focus, Breathe and Adjust.
%% I found an old sticky note, 2019, in my notebook/TQQQ=$60..........................50 month average still going up SPXL=$50\TZA=$48
