Have just purchased hoadley options software and am running it with Excel 2003. Its working fine except for the historic volatility calculator. When I use this it only produces the stock price chart. The moving average volatility chart stays blank. Also any of the boxes to the right of the charts that should show volatility data shows #NAMES? Have being in touch with Peter Hoadley who says that this is the first time he has seen this problem and reckons it must be either a problem with Excel or some other application blocking the functions associated with producing the volatility chart. Have unistalled/reinstalled hoadley and Excel software but the problem presists. Any help greatly appreciated.
