    Hey Guys,

I need some help. I'm about to get hired with morgan stanley as a broker I have my last interview on friday.

I went through a bankruptcy three years ago. I haven't told them about this and was wondering if I should.

Do you think this will have affect me getting hired?

Interesting subject.......I know more and more employers are doing credit checks. Since this is a finance job your prior bankruptcy might be an issue. I dont have any experiences that I can share with you on this topic....sorry, but I hope it works out for you and would appreciate an update when you find out:)

Hello again, Lasner. Have they asked you directly if you have ever filed for bankruptcy? If so, you should answer the question honestly.

No they never asked me. It was three years ago. I've since re established my credit. My credit score is like 700

You will have to disclose your bankruptcy when you apply for your series 7 securities liscense. But is not an issue when getting your liscense.
