What should be done about the MAGA terrorist threat?

  1. Wasn't the left terrorizing, looting, and burning neighborhoods just a few months ago? The low self-awareness of the left is astounding.

A Reuters photographer says he overheard pro-Trump insurrectionists saying they wanted to hang Mike Pence at the Capitol
    • A Reuters photographer said he heard at least three pro-Trump rioters at the Capitol on Wednesday saying they wanted to find Vice President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging.
    • The photographer, Jim Bourg, tweeted that he heard the rioters "say that they hoped to find Vice President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging him from a Capitol Hill tree as a traitor."
    • "It was a common line being repeated. Many more were just talking about how the VP should be executed," he added.
    • Trump has repeatedly and falsely claimed that Pence could have stopped Congress from finalizing Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 election, even though Pence has no such legal or constitutional authority.
    • When Pence released a statement saying he could not stop the process, the president publicly turned on him, tweeting that Pence didn't have the "courage" to do what was necessary.

Trump is toast. Wouldn't be surprised to see his approval dip into the teens.

Its probably because Pence said he had no authority to decide which electors to count, and then ignored the alternate electors and then counted the electors issued by secs of states, governors, and courts who ignored legislated law, made law (illegally), and/or ignored evidence of fraud in actual ballot counting. So Pence gaslighted us, saying he can't decide anything...and then decided everything. Remanding it back to the states that had sent mixed signals would have been the fair, logical, and probably Constitutional thing to do. That way, his argument, that he had not the authority to choose, would have remained consistent, and not a duplicitous display of cognitive dissonance. But somehow, Pence reasoned that the date Jan. 6 was more sacred than a fair election. For this reason he deserves scorn and dismissal from his post, and replaced with a more competent vice president.
