The rise of drones is the military's acknowledgement that the private sector knows best, ie. automation to replace people and keep costs down.

Actually, its the desire to keep the biggest cost of war down, THE COST OF HUMAN LIFE

Frankly i would love to see all war machines automated, but if there was no human suffering to war, then i think that countries would be all to willing to wage war with each other.

Back to the beginning, what republicans should do... I think they should dig in! That's right, they should firm their stance and come right out and say, "ok, yeah, we represent the rich. But any of you, if you simply work hard enough, or think hard enough (work smarter, huh?) can be rich. The existence of us, the rich, is proof that our system is the best! But in the meantime, before you've won your inevitable riches (remember, work hard, do overtime!), take comfort in the fact that a rising tide lifts all boats! What we, the rich, bring to the world trickles down and benefits you all! Look, never have the rich in America had such a magnitude of wealth above you, the "pre-rich", the soon-to-be-rich, and look around, things are better than they were before! And they'll be better still if you vote for us, the party of the rich!"

I think we should invent a Tantalus Field (google is your friend) so that the person in power can spare ALL human life and only eliminate those people who he or she thinks are bad people.

You never watched the original Star Trek? It had your own countryman as a star ya know.

I was never a big fan of shows like Star Trek, or Battle star gallactica..... Which is strange, because i read just about everything that has to do with The universe/astronomy/space, I like Stephen Hawking, or Carl Sagan for example. And i like reading books about physics, as it pertains to astronomy.
