Why do I keep seeing ppl paying .002 per thousand, while I'm paying .04 PER SHARE? Granted, it's 100% payout, and I don't do volume (1mil/month) but c'mon. Does no one out there pay more than .01/share anymore?
Any prop firm posting job listings on Craigslist is likely bad news. I was stupid enough to respond to one post on Craiglist and it was from TradersCapital.net. They run a shady operation out of their offices in the Sears Tower and have no interest in maintaining traders, just taking your capital.
I wish we had a standard for discussing this, it's pretty simple actually. It always gets screwed up. You pointed out a guy that said it wrong, I believe what he meant was: -$0.002 per share OR/SAME AS: -$2 per 1000 shares OR/SAME AS: -20 mils The latter is the most correct and is the terminology used on the floor and in clearing houses. 20/100 or 2/10's of a penny is where that comes from. But Chow, you say you are paying $0.04 per share? That is something I have not heard of in years. Even in a retail account. You need to switch or renegotiate, 1mm shares a month is not inactive. If you wrote that correctly you pay $40,000 a month in commissions?? I would love to be your broker . . .
.04/share * 1,000,000 is 40,000, not 4,000. And you try to correct another's math? Amazed that some people claim to trade and yet can't do simple math.
