What programming lanuage is tradestations easylanguage built upon

  1. I know ninjascript i build on c#. So if i know c# it would be easy for me to learn ninjascript. What language is easylanguage build on? What programming language should i know before it will be easy for me to learn tradestations easylanguage?

    It's their own creation. Overall, it is as verbose as Pascal, but also as loose as Basic. It lacks a lot of the more advanced features, like user-defined data types, pointers. In return, it adds mechanisms for processing time-series data.

  5. Based on Pascal from the syntax.

    Why isn't there a good platform that uses Python? Has it just not been out long enough?

    Easylanguage is TradeStation's own proprietary programming language. You don't need to learn any other programming language before learning EasyLanguage. EasyLanguage is just like what its name says, a REALLY easy language to learn. It's quite powerful. The only thing that it lacks is programming for option trading other than that, it's quite good. Have fun!
