Because I enjoy scalping, I usually trade with MT4, as it offers 30 technical indicators and 31 graphical objects.
Heard from many that MT5 is upgraded but I still fire trades from MT4 with fxview. I tried MT5 too on demo but found it really less effective according to my trading style as I use charting tools for better analysis and for that I use autochartist.
Since I'm a scalper using currency pairs to trade, I prefer using the MT4 platform because it is suitable for currency trading and has a simpler user interface than other platforms. I think the platform is not a big deal for me, trading conditions on the other hand are. I am trading with fxview, tickmill and icmarkets, and all offer both mt4 and mt5 which work well and executes all of my orders.
when it come to specific forex then i would choose MT4 over MT5 for sure. Alot of forex brokers now are on MT4 anyways.
