Looking at history, once a certain percentage of the population ends up idle with no work or prospects of earning a wage, things get dangerous. ie: Fall of the Tzars in Russia etc..
We're already over 20% U6 out here in California. At the moment, people seem more interested in pot dispensaries than revolution.

Tom, It's funny you said that Cali is about 20% unemployment. My business partner just moved back to San Diego and we kept our LLC headquarters here in Texas, for tax purposes. We had a skype conference call on Monday and he was telling me the exact same number. So goes California goes the US. The fact that people actual believe, the media reports and Obama's team and Republicans both repeat national unemployment at 9.1% is beyond insulting. Let's not talk about Cali State Tax on top of Fed Tax, on top of Local tax, on top of sales tax on top of green taxes....et all. I mean, 20% are not paying taxes due to "out of work" and think about the other 40% who pay no taxes while working. Where do you think California is headed? Another item my business partner expressed.....he had to pay almost 2000k in taxes on a car he leased...and payed taxes on at lease signing. Are you kidding me! He leased the SUV in Texas, list price is 100k. It is only three years old and because he took it with him, he had to pay a % on Blue Book. Then he had the balls to ask me, to come on down to San Diego! LOL. No thank you, I'll stay right here in Austin Texas with the "LLC" headquarters and our Client Rep. Specialist. Revolution is around the corner folks, maybe a few years off but around the corner. It could come a lot sooner if Obama is re-elected. However, the Liberals have managed to Hi-jack the Anti- Wall Street movement along with the Unions, Socialist and Anarchist. So, that was a brilliant move on the Chess Board by OBAMA and his followers. This pushed off a serious momentum toward a real revolution. Now, the Occupy Wall Street movement is not only discredited but it is also a laughing stock of "Movements". DC has bought some more time. But if Cali and the US stay at 20% unemployment....I hope most you idiots on ET have CL to carry. Cuz, if you'r as successful as half you clowns post, you'r a target and eventual you will run into someone who "Thinks" you owe them and they will take it. People who are against POT have fall'n for the Propaganda machine run by the US gov. Pot of medical purposes vs every pharma drug that has 10000000 side effects and is far more addictive. POT was used and still is used in the form of HASH by Saudi's today, as many other countries, for a common smoking item. Of course, you can not have large quantities or sell. You must grow your own and smoke it. Half you fucking idiots against POT are the comm'n law abiding sheeople who drink till you are retarded or Have a few drinks every day, or you have a few drinks every day, get blasted and drive. The logic of making Pot illegal, is well, not logical at all. And to use the slippery slope that POT is a gateway drug????
