You buy when they are crying and sell when they are yellin' Way to many shorts. Friday was Capitulation.
Me Thinks capitulation will occur when VIX reaches new highs: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=vix&sid=0&o_symb=vix&x=0&y=0
Capitulation? of what? most of the Joe12Packs out there have never heard of BearSterns can any of the w.s. brokers withstand massive withdrawals? we get to see next week... unless the Fed. restricts withdrawals to $50K or whatever...
but joe12pack does not have his money with w.s brokers. they have there money with wall street banks that have fdic insurance. the wall st investor will not be pulling there money out in the masses because they need there money to work for them, becuase they are running a fund using LEH as a prime broker
LOL, "You buy when they are crying and sell when they are yellin' Way to many shorts. Friday was Capitulation" My friend that was not even close to a Capitulation move in the overall market. We may be getting close. If LEH ends up like BS, then we might get some serious Capitualtion. We are not even in the ball park as far as "Financial Meltdown". We still have a long way to go. In other words, this is just the start. You wait til 2009. All this is just a teaser. As far as a market crash............wouldn't expect one on monday at all. The two key crashes in the US and plenty of crashers in other countries happened during a Rally, dancing in the street, all is good, DING DONG the witch is dead atmospher. Lets see if the govidiots can brainwash the "Sheeople" into such a 'Atmospher".
let's wait and see if there is a line of people in front of BSC offices on Monday... even CNBC won't be able to hide it..

The name of this thread is "What, no Black Monday Thread"?
A far as i understand it Bear Stearns doesnt have retail clients as they are an investment bank so who exactly will be lining up?
