You all know what I think. A good entry usually requires 2 or 3 good entries while you are averaging down. The exit just depends on what year Lambo you want to get. So definitely entry more important than exit. I always say with stocks or real estate you make your money when you buy not when you sell...meaning that if you get a good entry you can't lose money.
Historically I've struggled more with exits than entries. Sucks when you buy a stock at $2/shr and close the trade an hour later at $4/shr. You're patting yourself on the back telling yourself what an awesome trader you are only to see the stock close the day at $14/shr. Ooof!
More often than not, targets are just wishful thinking. Not unlike your Lambo. Hard or mental stops are real.
You have all of your bases covered sir! Ever thought of running for office, be senator of your state? Kidding aside, I like your answer because there is no one size fits all. Some make $ with entry others with exit. I struggle with both entry and exit.
