What makes a trader successful? 1. KNOWING (not just hoping) he has a method that statistically is R/R favorable. 2. Observing and executing with discipline. If you think it's other, you're not "getting it". Price TA.. KISS!
As i started trading on 2024, i did a fresh backtest of this year. The Live trading results match exatcly the positions on the Fresh (2024) backtest. The 15 years backtest results are 43% vs 57% (Loosing vs profitable trades). Profit factor drops to 1.83 Risk Reward 1/1.36
Speaking of "drawdowns"... I ran a mutual fund timing service for clients where the largest drawdown over 5 years, peak to trough, was <2%... where the compounded average annual return was 75%/yr*... was averaging $15,000/day profits. * That was my ultimate "5-minutes of fame", where I made $MILLIONS... and have been enjoying the fruits of that success for years! How you like "them apples"?
