What leverage should be good for a newbie to use?

  1. high leverage is only used if you are really experienced and can control your risk well. Otherwise it's better to stick to low leverage.

  2. I totally agree! Leverage can be a disaster if not used wisely and carefully. It can drain the account in no time, leaving a trader broke.

imo new traders should use zero leverage and no margin. Leverage is toxic for inexperienced traders

  4. And even if a beginner wants to trade with leverage they should try to learn on the demo account first and see how it works.

  5. I would suggest newbies to first trade with a demo account but if you are looking for live experience then trade with a leverage of 1:30 or 1:10 to avoid higher loss.

IMO a demo account is only useful for understanding how orders work...limit, market, stops, etc...
You need to learn to trade with real money. Start small, manage risk. learn discipline/patience.
All the rest is just BS.

  7. As a beginner it is always good to start with minimum leverage. I’d also suggest practising trading leverage on a demo account to see how leverage works.

  8. Leverage isnt a bad thing since trading forex without leverage feels kinda bad since you won't be making any profit at all and requires more capital investment. IMO 1:100 is good enough for beginner.
