The choice of leverage is totally up to the trader. But do keep in mind that it’s a double-edged sword. So, better use it carefully.
you should always choose the right leverage for you. However, for newbie i suggest sticking to a lower leverage level like 1:200 max so you don't overcommit on your trades.
I totally agree to choose leverage if you know how to use it. I would say try to keep your leverage as low as possible if you’re new to trading. 30x is sufficient to start with if you have low capital.
Imo, traders should do a good amount of practice and knowledge before trading leverage. It can either be highly profitable or can burn a hole in the pocket. Traders should learn and also understand the risks that are involved and prefer using 1:100 ratio for leverage.
It is important to practise trading leverage on a demo account before trading on a live account. This will give traders an idea of how leverage actually works and how it can impact his/her trading funds.
i always use high leverage in demo account to see the performance how it works, its really a good approach to avoid losses in a real account.
