What levels are you waiting for to be your next trade entry?? (Any/all markets)

  1. I'll buy some dow at 6625 :)

Might sell a few forever stamps when the price hits a dollar :)

Otherwise I have no clue if I'll take a trade at a level/zone until moments after my signals show up .

Even if I have a level in mind of where I could possibly take a trade if a signal shows up, How will that benefit you?

  2. You ''signal''?? lol
    Care to elaborate?

As ive never understood what on earth a ''signal'' actually means.
All a chart is is formations, S&R levels, and price action movements... :p

But im not asking it to ''benefit myself'',
more just out of curiousity though about what trades everyone else is looking to take today.

I already have made my trade, and know the few markets that i specialise in trading. :)

  3. A signal is a pattern of data. There are tons of different types of signals for anything and everything.

Right now apparently my brain is signaling me to go eat.

Don't you ever get signals to do things?

  4. Data?? lol

I make my trade entries and exits based on chart patterns, price action, and S&R levels.

Maybe thats what you call ''data''??

  5. A signal is just a term to describe what triggered your trade decision. All of the information you are aggregating (possibly sub-consciously) results in that signal. Whether it is a discretionary signal or systematic, it can be described as a signal, nevertheless.

The language is borrowed from signal processing fields.

  6. Pretty much , yes.

You use signals too then .

I can see how one can name a S/R level in advance but what use is that without seeing how price reacts to it in the NOW, In the PRESENT, ?

Just some thoughts. Different strokes for different folks depending on goals in the market place.

  10. Cashed in that trade a few hours ago at 77.33 support for another 73pips profit for the day!

Looking to resell NZD/JPY next week potentially at the 78.06 level again.

Before that am looking to sell Dax at 7,756 or to buy GBP/AUD at 1.536 level.
