The photo you have shown shows a font size on your trading app too small for, I reckon, 80% of people to read from a safe and healthy distance between eyes and screen. Lol back.
Speak for your self, I don't think you represent 80% of laptop users. Are you familiar with screen resolution? Do the math, a 1080P laptop font is smaller than 4x 1080P on a 4k on a 40" monitor. You know that is what you are looking at, right? There's peanut in very gallery...
mate, you can't compare a 20 and 39 inch screen. If you want to talk a comparison then make it a comparison between apples and apples. Your screenshot looks simply ridiculous, only someone a foot away can even start to guess the text you are displaying there. Enough said.
Don't you get eye strain from 4K screens? There is a good reason Computer screens have a premium. I assume you went with 4K because you do a lot of multimedia viewing.
You don't understand. A 40" monitor running 4k is the same font size as 20" monitor running at 1080P. Which is larger font than 17.3 laptop running at 1080P. And even larger font compared to 15.6 laptop running at 1080P. Like i said, it's not for everyone, especially if you're blind.
Nope, i trade and code. Stare at my screens 8+ hrs a day without eye glasses. Can't you guys do math? A 40" screen at 4k is larger font than laptops and about same size font as 20" 1080P monitors. You guys still watching tv on plasma screens because of warmer picture?
Zzzz1 Here's a display that will make your eyes bleed, lol What you're looking at is a 4k 15.6 laptop. Same as 4x 1080P on 15.6 screen. I can read that also, my next toy. I'm going to recommend they make a brail screen for you 2 hahaha
I can't remember screen tech right now. Perhaps, I am confusing it with resolution metrics rather technology. Is a 4K computer screen the same thing as a 4K TV? The computer screen vs tv is my issue. If it looks the same to me without eye strain, I have no issue. I only read text. I don't want to run goofy resolutions, either.
That's an insane resolution for a 15" laptop -- I have the same size laptop, but I use 1366x768. Alot of people like to brag about fancy, expensive, complicated trading setups...but I just use a $200 used laptop I got from eBay: HP red 15-f272wm ...and I'm pretty sure I beat their returns. Not to brag or anything, but just sayin Just some food for thought, or something to consider about your overall trading strategy and priorities and necessities.
It's very close. Of course a dedicated monitor will be better, but the new 4k TV's are really close. The one in my picture is 1st gen 4k TV, cheapest 4k TV on the market at the time, it's marginally acceptable as a monitor. But I will replace it with a 4k monitor eventually.
