  3. they all lose. you cant make money scalping. the markets move too fast and by the time you're in and take the time to fill the order page with your limit and stop price its already hit since scalpers are trying to only grab a point or a half of point. it also starts confusion since your under immense pressure to do everything fast. i never had any success with it.

Thats a bit much Jack - although quite funny. in the end.

    >>>The futures index I trade lags well behind the cash index and the futures index that I monitor to be able to trade my lagging index.<<<

Is it allowed to ask which lagging future(s) you are talking about?

    Thanks.

  7. Do you know what X_Trader is? If not, don't post in this thread again because you are talking about something that you know absolutely nothing about.

  8. Exactly, or Buttontrader, or whatever DOM-based orderclicker.
I got the impression someone was trying to scalp with an order-page. That would be rather ridiculous. But maybe I misunderstood.

  9. ES lags YM and INDU. There are a few posts knocking around on this topic. It's controversial.

  10. It seems to me that this is a proposition that could be tested by analysing the data. Such being the case, there is no need for it to be "controversial" at all. If nobody can be bothered doing this, then I suggest that this thread not be polluted by a Pythonesque exchange of "this is not argument, this is contradiction".
