    You always like this ?

The original video was from his blog. He's one of the few back then that posted live videos of his entire trading day, complete broker statements with each trade ID and so on.

That video was one of the most popular ones that got instant fame on Youtube.
    1) No argument...just stating facts. Its your choice if you want to believe or not. If you don't believe it, I will make no further conversations about such. I've learned a long time ago to just let it go after a few statements.

    2) I for fact know several traders at firms not performing (losing). They have been referred to the companies in house psychologist to help them deal with personal issues that's impacting their job performance. One in particular punched a hole in the wall after being told he's being removed from the credit swaps desk and moved to another desk.

    3) The trader in the video clip had a blog where he posted daily complete broker statements with full trade ID exchange info for each trade. In addition, he did live video recordings of most trading days. The video for that particular day he posted on Youtube to show one of his bad days (he didn't have many)...maybe he's one of those types that likes to do selfies but with video.

Yeah, you're right when you said "he has no discipline"...that other variable I mentioned (e.g. Discipline). Its a key too and we agree. I'll talk about that particular variable in another thread as another key to a trading plan. :D

    4) I don't know who he is nor care but there are many others by professional traders, institutions talking about the importance of "stress management". Seriously, I didn't make that words up...not fabricated. They actually say "stress management".

Guess what...I'll let you win. I fabricated it all. I hired everyone in those videos just to wait for this thread just to prove a point about how stress management can help your job performance and control your anger while at work or home office.

There's no such thing as stress management and top trading firms and top professional traders do not have anything in place for their employees to help them manage their "stress". Also, please ignore that Google article when they started their own private trading room several years back...they too hired an in house psychologist...Google's press release is not real too...all lies by them.

Conversation over...you get the last word.

  3. Hi Donna,

I was trying to send you a private message but it did not go through. What's the best way to send you a private message?

    Thanks and best regards,

For example, do you understand market micro structure well? This is an edge to help you find edges.

No, I don't really understand the market micro structure. However, I will read about it.

  7. If GS is really giving out their secret sauce, then I suspect there is no real secret sauce. (Why have so many big name traders been found to be "cheating market rules" instead of using Technical Analysis etc.) The root problem with HFT is that it has strip mined the ocean of legitimate buyers. (See some of my previous posts if you are interested ). IMO, a fair price depends on numerous buyers and sellers, so the fewer legitimate entities there are, the less "honest" the price. Five computers or 20 governments trading against each other will just not cut it IMO. Prices need to be tested under fire. Perhaps we will soon see some fire.

Sadly, trust is very hard to rebuild quickly. Trust is all there is that is behind most FAIT (H) currencies IMO.

  8. the most important edge? PATIENCE. 99% of traders lack this. And they wonder why I have never had a losing trade in 6 years! Yes never lost a trade in 6 years and made over 40 big trades in those years.

    My edge?
    Time (patience)
Day job- no pressure to be right today or next week
Day job-replenishment of funds as tuition got paid
Willingness to look at losses without bias, look at failed trades, look at trading records, examine, interpret
Leaning into depression, going with it, using it
    Adapting
    Research
    Getting my thrills elsewhere
    Focus
Trading plan based on all the above.
