    rajesheck,

The few with intuitions changed the world but the millions with intellects keep the world going and I am grateful to both.

I am satisfied to be just one of the millions instead of one of the few.

    Regards,

Intuition is a combination of innate perceptual capacity and wisdom which is developed by living one's life, including making a lot of mistakes and learning from them. The issue is whether one does or does not have it but whether they have the balls to use it.

  3. I humbly disagree from my philosophical point of view. :)

We live in our own world. We are the inventors of our own world.

We all, including the great scientists and game changers, are here to discover our unique talents and realize our potential for personal contentment and happiness. This is our personal world.

Columbus discovered America, it is his uniqueness to do so. He did it to push his personal boundaries which gives him contentment and joy.

Everyone is unique and our talents and ambitions are also unique. We must not compare ourselves with others. This is our life and our creation.

Our happiness is in pursuing what our heart is desiring for. Discovering our unique talents and pushing our personal boundaries are the secret of our happiness. :)

We must respect our uniqueness and never compare ourselves with others.

    Speedo's comment reflects my sentiments.

I guess we have found the "everybody is a winner" type of guy.

Why not? If you don't compare yourself to others how do you know how good you are? Let's say you made 5% last year and you feel really peachy about yourself. Had you compared yourself to others you would find out that they made way more than you did, but that little objective fact would mess up your tender subjective happiness....

How do you know if you lived up to your potential when you don't have a peer standard to compare to?

  6. Not really a fair comment. Intuition without experience is just wishful thinking or possibly intestinal gas.

Jobs's intuition in his field made inroads like no other. His experience in treating illness was non-existent, so his "intuition" or wishful thinking in that area was meaningless and ultimately unfortunate.

  7. To my knowledge alternative medicine works well for cancer. My classmate, six months after his marriage diagnised for stomach tumor and discharged from hospital saying he will kive three more months. The doctors their adviced his wife to remarry soon.

He was then cured in the same three months by an eminent homeopathy doctor.

The Chinese have had great success with qigong practice in the treatment of cancer. While Job's had a less aggressive form of pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cancer is bad news and Western medicine may or may not have helped him.
