Yeah, But simple guys like me are not smart enough at this. I have to also painstakingly choose my entry point or I lose my pants. nononsense
I wish Baron could implement some kind of filter that wouldnt allow you to start a post with a subject that has been posted more than a thousand times.
Not if it is a completely automated strategy, even someone's discretionary strategy can be very valuable to someone trying to figure out their own edge.
In fact, what holds you from doing that right now? I'm not sure, but I guess that Baron simply loves these kind of initiatives.
This sounds a bit like a dog trying to catch his own tail. I guess it's OK, as long as you don't go broke before having "figured out your own edge". nononsense PS: some might impress NOT to forget using MM while you're at it. Won't help, only makes the pain last longer. __________________ Trend Finding is Edge Finding and Edge Finding is Trend Finding nononsense's axiom
Newer people may want to (re)discuss older topics. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's possible for new original ideas to spark from these discussions, people to learn, progress to be made. Censure is counterproductive and ugly. Let them chat on old subjects, or whatever they want!
Great comment, especially if you have a good assessment of your own personality. For example, I have the lone wolf (fighter) mentality and frequently get the urge to "make a stand" when everyone else is running for the exits. This is a reliable auto-fade where I have to say to myself start running baby.
My trading holy grail is identify how specialists and market makers do headfakes and take my profit. Knowing when they do fakes, it is straight money. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the market makers for the tricks they put on traders.
