As demonstrated from the above and completely valid reversal (from the Muslim perspective), your statement is shallow and pointless -- to say nothing of factually baseless.

    >We will see who wins the battle between
    >Christians and Muslims.

Yeah, and my Dad can beat up your Dad. How freakin' childish.

PS: that silly battle to which you refer -- Gilbert's got next

Obviously, you dont understand the battle, or you wouldnt refer to it as, silly.

If you dont think that most muslims leaders, are against America and christians, you are mistaken. These people have been fighting us for along time. September 11, is a just one example, of how serious muslims are, about, what they call "Fatah", a holy war. We have been at war with these people, long before this.
Now, after something like 9-11, I don't see how you cannot see, that we are at war, with these people.

At this very moment, we have american troops, fighting and dying in this war.

Silly, pointless, shallow, & factually baseless? You don't have a clue as to what is going on.

I am a veteran myself. You tell, the families, of dead soldiers, that we are not at war with these muslim countries, and see what they say.

All that's obvious here is that you obviously don't know the meaning of the word "obvious".

    >If you dont think that most muslims leaders, are against
    >America and christians, you are mistaken.

Did I say anything of the sort? No -- I said the battle was silly.

    Yes, aaaaand it's silly!

    >Now, after something like 9-11, I don't see how you

I don't see how cannot see that your reading skills are worth diddly -- I never even implied that there is no war/battle. I did clearly stated that IT'S SILLY!

    >At this very moment, we have american troops, fighting
    >and dying in this war.

Yes, and at this moment, with these methods and these goals, IT'S SILLY!

    >Silly, pointless, shallow, & factually baseless? You
    >don't have a clue as to what is going on.

From someone who can't read. LOL

    >I am a veteran myself. You tell, the families, of dead

Nah...I'm not going to tell them that - cause I've never held that position. I'm just going to tell them that IT'S SILLY!

Pay more attention the the post next time and we could have a much more interesting exchange.

So, you think its silly? So, you think we should just let them get away with things, like september 11? I think its serious, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Im just curious, as to what you think we should do about something like september 11?

And, by the way, you can laugh all you want about my reading & writing skills. I am not the least bit concerned. People, always say something like that, when they don't know what to say, or do. Just steer away from the real subject. Do you really think anyone on here, would care what you thought of their reading and writing skills. I doubt it.

Saying something like its silly, is a an excuse, a copout. Take one side or the other. Do you think its silly to all families who have lost loved ones, at the hands of these people?

    >So, you think its silly? ...

    Religious wars are silly, period.

The fact that you buy into them and even exacerbate them by stating that your "god" is somehow better then the opponents just demonstrates the sad brainwashing that continues the silliness.

    >Im just curious, as to what you think we should do
    >about something like september 11?

The only long term solution is to rid the world of extremist views like yours (and the 9/11 terrorists) who believe that their god is the one and only.

    >And, by the way, you can laugh all you want about my

    >People, always say something like that, when they

I know *exactly* what to say ... "improve your reading skills so you can respond to what people say rather than putting words in their mouths." Or not ... there's no rule that says you can't just make shit up.

    >Saying something like its silly, is a an excuse,
    >a copout. Take one side or the other.

OMG LOL. Why would I take "one side or the other" in a religious battle that is silly? The fact that you (and them) can see only through binary "one side or the other" eyes IS THE PROBLEM.

    >Do you think its silly to all families who have lost
    >loved ones, at the hands of these people?

No, I think it's sad that *anyone* has to lose their life at the hand of YOU people ("you people" being defined as religious extremists -- you and them).

From Scott Peterson murdering his wife, to the war, to God. I'm not saying that I agree with the, what might seem to be, an extremely dovish view - my only point is Don't Blame God.

I've responded a couple of time' to this question. We should respond just like we would, and have, to other murderous acts committed by criminals, thugs, drug runners, and other bad people. Use our police abilities, not dive into someone else's civil war.

We survived the Cold War, we have been fighting well trained and better financed drug cartels for decades without having to scare everyone in America into thinking that there are terrorists under every rock. I'll bet the drug cartels have more members and more money than Al-Quaeda.

9/11 was horrible, but it was done in one day. Americans are still paying the price, both in our travel, our policies, and our way of life. We have been an occupying force in the wrong place for years now. Why should the terrorists follow us home when we send our brave children over to a place where there is no winning, there is no way to judge a win in my opinion.

The terrorists have already won, they have split our Country into two polarized factions that are not much different than Sunni's and Shiates in their language of hate of one another. What happened to us? How can we let politicos and media types continue to promote' such hatred of liberals and conservatives.

Why can't there by true independent thinking? I hate war. I hate taxes. I hate abortion, but I respect the law the way it is. I can't believe we can't do stem cell research with the support of our tax dollars, but we can continue to spend billions on a stupid war. I do want a strong military for defense, not offense unless we're absolutely sure what we're getting into and why.

The world is complicated, and there are no black and white answers. We need to discuss amicably the topics that matter to all Americans, not just my guy or your guy, or my God or your God.

Do I have an answer to all this, of course not, noone does, but hating each other is just plain wrong.

On religion I am slightly to the right of Richard Dawkins - I think it is complete and utter BS and see no evidence whatsoever for the existence of god. I have yet to hear a single religious person put forward any actual solid facts or evidence supporting the existence of god, most eventually admit it is just a matter of faith, yet ignore the extremely unreliable track record of faith in deciding the truth or falsity of beliefs.

If the main reason supporting religious belief is faith - the same faith that gave us witch trials, belief in gods of fire and wind, voodoo, omens, astrology and other superstitious nonsense - then I think that is a very weak foundation indeed. Any rational person would, at best, view god as a possibility rather than have a rock-solid belief in his existence.

Overall, I think religion is just another of those human beliefs which are extremely widespread but utterly false. Like alchemy in the middle ages, or the divine right of kings, it is a respectable and widely held belief despite being complete bunk.

  10. Don't blame God? Why not? Afterall, we are his creation, right? I've always been curious what king of "loving God" creates a bunch of f'n retards(the human race in general)and then stands in judgement of their shortcomings? In the upside down world of organized religion God gets all the credit when things go right and none of the blame when things go wrong. Nice work if you can get it.
