Right, but still you are using above time frames as different names. For example most times 133 tick chart= 1min time frame 333tick chart= 2-3 min chart. Don't tell me that you timeframe is always less than 133 tick chart
Do you optimize your tick charts on daily basis, or you use same tick charts everyday? I belive Tick charts are like Moving averages that has to be optimized, because on differnet days 220 tick charts can be equal to 1min, 2min or ... depand on days activity. But i guess with time charts you won't have these problems. Please correct me if i am wrong?
Interesting no tick charts in the poll. They provide a very good feel for market velocity and filter out quite a bit of "noise." Note: tick charts intervals depend heavily on the instrument being traded and the overall volume.
If you believe this, stop worrying about 1min through 120min charts. Simply learn how to hire the right girls & guys to do it for you. This will put you squarely where you believe you "should be".

No, I currently do not optimize my Tick charts and use the same tick count every day, Nana. Nevertheless, you might be not wrong! Planned to do this several times, but did not accomplished it yet. Forgot to say, I use different tick counts for different Futures! E.g. for ES higher count, lower counts for the slower ones. Saico
