What is your net Profit/Loss this year

I guarantee that no one here is up over 500K. the only people up that much have a huge account (think hedge fund/ institutional traders) where being up 500K represents only a modest percentage gain. most on these boards trade to make around 100K a year, which is a nice supplement to your primary income.

    According to this poll, 75% of the people on ET are profitable traders. LMAO! Not even close. I would bet my entire account that no more then 10% of the people on this board are net profitable and I think I am being generous here.

    Why? Because only a small percent of traders are profitable in the long run (I have been profitable for the past 2 years, since I started trading, doesn't mean I won't lose it all in a few months, who knows), and those that are aren't dicking around on a message board

  8. Guess they make that primary income as a nite janitor, cause 100k ain't coming without FULL TIME trading, if then. Investing doesn't count.

    And they may trade to make 100k but will take 10k.
