1. Just did an EQ test and scored horribly. Not good.

  2. WARNING: DO NOT take the test at the above link!

After you complete the test, but before you get your score you'll be hijacked for about 15 minutes as they try to get you to sign up for all sorts of crap, while repeatedly rejecting all your fake addresses & phone numbers. It's really frustrating, and totally not worth it just to get a rough approximation of your actual IQ score.

Anyone got a good link for this sort of thing?

  3. http://www.iqtest.com/

I liked this one, RM. Looks to be more legit, and I really like the way the questions are structured.

  4. Yeah your right:

    a) That paticular IQ Test had no relationship to trading intelligence

    b) I scored 114, in real life I score over 140

    c) They try to get you to sign-up for a ton of shit

    d) While initial system design, development and implementation do require cognitive intelligence, actual trading itself requires focus and discipline which aren't related to intellect at all. They require willpower, thinking in probabilities and doing the same thing consistently.

  5. I did the test, no idea why, felt it was boring as hell. Some questions I did not care for and just took a random guess, like the girl with peanuts lol heh.

    Ended up with 131.

Not exactly the point of my post so I'll get to it, to obtain the results I had to go through an odyssey of ads that felt like I had been cheated

The higher IQ you have, the higher the probability that you will fail at trading.

High IQ ppls tend to have a "must be right" mentality. That being right has nothing to do with successful trading.

I agree with another poster that EQ is more important than IQ for trading.
