What Is The Right Printer For Trading?

  1. My local electronics stores carry HP, Epson and Casio. I am concerned that there might be subtle or unexpected differences between the readily available choices that will impact the quality of my trading. If it makes any difference, I scalp index futures. TIA for any advice.

  2. Thanks to all who sent me advice by PM. I have decided to stay with old reliable HP, but I feel that the following recommendations merit repeating to ET at large.

A Casio enthusiast wrote: "My backtests seem to reflect reality better when printed on a Casio."

An Epson advocate shared: "I seem to be able to see my mistakes better when I print the day's chart for analysis on an Epson."

But I am sticking with HP because a fellow user reflected: "My HP prints long Jack Hershey posts for three-ring-binding so fast that I feel less guilty about taking the time away from trading."
