I realize that, I was about to suggest it but second guessing doing so. Basically I just wanted confirmation and for how long.

  2. Actually, DRYS used to be highly profitable, back in 07'/08', when BDI was 12,000 roughly 10X higher than today. Back then it earned $21EPS which took, the stock, to $120 but then he overpaid for ORIG which ironically kept them afloat when shipping imploded and did more self dealing. I think it IPO'd in 05' but I have followed that train wreck since 07' off and on. They haven't been profitable since 2015 but should be this year unless George Economou decides to leverage up like crazy to collect fees or debt interest.

    Never??
Why is their net income positive year after year?
Maybe I’m looking at quarterly numbers..
    I must be missing something....

Just like with TSLA it is all about accounting:

    "Summary
The business model's accounting obscures effective operating costs.

Liabilities are still expanding at a faster pace than revenue.

Making its own television shows and films is difficult, and can be expensive.

Netflix isn't seeing enough economy in its scale-up so far."

NFLX's free cash flow has been negative for the last 6 years.

"Free cash flow (FCF) is a measure of a company's financial performance, calculated as operating cash flow minus capital expenditures. FCF represents the cash that a company is able to generate after spending the money required to maintain or expand its asset base."

Take a look at Research Frontier REFR I don't believe that they have ever been profitable.
