im a fiscal conservative. I’m against entitlement programs and welfare but think free money is awesome. It causes the stock market to go up.

I heard Trump say it's also a way to motivate foreign companies to migrate their operations to within US borders to avoid any tarrifs.

Historically, tarrifs were the only income source reserved for the federal government, as spelled out in the Constitution. Other incomes have only come through amendments and/or mission creep.
