The Fed's power is in doing the unexpected. They have to keep people somewhat off balance, otherwise their moves have little effect. In other words: next meeting, they'll cut rates to match Japan's. Bernanke will arrive for his first meeting in a helicopter called the Money Machine. When he makes a big move, he'll have a tag line just like Donald Trump; I'm thinking, "Suck it up, weaklings - you've been bumped!"
