  1. Hi All,

I was looking for some stocks and one of the interesting stocks I found was WRD.
it went up very much and it is going down again now.

I wanted to understand why it is going down. I found that earning news was not good.

I found that websites do have different EPS for this stock which was very confusing !!

    First group :
Let's start with Zacks. Zacks stated the reported EPS for Q2 as 0.39 (reference : https://www.zacks.com/stock/research/WRD/earnings-announcements)

market beat stated the reported EPS as Zacks (0.39)

Yahoo finance stated the reported EPS as 0.39 as well.

    second group :

Market watch stated the reported EPS as -0.22 ( reference : https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/wrd/financials/income/quarter)

    Sec filing has the 10-Q document as EPS = +0.22! ( reference : https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1681714/000155837018006889/wrd-20180630x10q.htm)

    NASDAQ has EPS = -0.22 as well ( reference : https://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/wrd/revenue-eps)

I don't know why I see different values. shouldn't they all be the same ?
I went through different companies and some others have the same issue. different EPS for each site !

  3. I need to learn how to get the correct EPS.
it doesn't matter what is the company.

It doesn't matter that it's 2018 -- this is an old complaint.

So, you'll get plenty of sympathetic readers, but few (new) answers.

    Sorry. :(

I think, the best you can do is, much of what you've already done: shop around, look for consistency by release, and then from release-to-release.
