I know a guy who sells B grade vegetables on the road side. He works everyday, and makes about 5K a week in profit. He spends about 1 K. 8th year doing it.... 4x52x8 = 1.6 mil selling old tomatoes and bananas. He will retire by 2010 and enjoy his family.

My Mom got a liver transplant and had complications. Total cost about 250K. That was 10 years ago when ICU was about 10K a day. Probably 50% more now.
