If you are really serious about trading options, read it cover to cover, it will serve you well. It is more like a text book on options and covers almost every aspects of options including some popular strategies and their pros and cons... I did that a few times, plus I bought and used the book's Study Guide. If you do not have time, just read the sections on basic options. Good luck.
"Options as a Strategic Investment" is a great book because it explains tactics and strategies without math proofs or calculus. If you're up on your math skills I highly recommend Euan Sinclair's "Volatility Trading."
