What is Technical Analysis? Why does it work?

  1. I have a profitable system that is not dependent on picking the right direction, unless not picking a direction is a direction lol. Do you have or know of a system that predicts direction with any statistical significance? I am always open to learning something new. So far I haven't found that system.

  2. Yes, but trading has nothing to do with flipping coins. If you flip the coin now or in 1 hour it will make no difference. If you trade now or in 1 hour it can make a hell of a difference. In trading there are techniques to enhance your chances, in flipping coins you cannot influence the result unless you cheat. In a good week I have +90% profitable trades. I never have less than 75% good trades in any week. I never heared about somebody who can perform this in flipping coins.

  3. :wtf: You can never make profits by taking the wrong direction. I know that Elite Traders are elite, but even for Elite Traders that is impossible. :D If you make profits it means the direction was right.

Yes I know of such a system, but unfortunatelly for you I don't want to disclose it.
Your statement confirms my point as you said:So far I haven't found that system.
The person defines if something is random or not.

  5. I hear this question every day. I never received anything from anybody, so I keep it in the family. I give back to the world what the world gave me: nothing.

  7. That's basically how it works, unless someone is offering you a substantial monetary gain. My oldest is finishing up his undergrad in physics. I'll be showing him some tricks of the trade after he graduates

  8. You have to find your own way. Most don't and give up. Odds of success increase if you find a credible mentor or work for a place to learn the tactics.
