Hey FrothLogic, still haven't heard the name of the University that ... ahem... "sponsors" you. Unless of course by sponsorship you mean they allow you to hire a room to fleece noobs out of nearly 4K. Indeed, Bill made such a statement in "the other thread", but his kabana boy (our impartial moderator) decided to delete not only our requests for verification, but Bill's original statement as well. Funny about that! Thus, due to the deafening silence, one can only conclude that your statement was complete and utter BS. No surprise there. Now watch FrothLogic use every trick in the book trying to slither his way out of this, like not answering the question, not staying on topic, answering a question with a question, personal attacks, etc, etc, all irrelevant preprogrammed responses. Synchronously funny and sad. To all potential victims who are about to have $4K depart from their wallets, Caveat Emptor.
Undoubtedly debate, even heated and colorful exchanges, should be allowed to flourish, particularly when argument is rightly being deployed for and against a particular system which has been (or is being) sold elsewhere. When the sparks are flying it brightens up any discussions forum. Such debate here is even more important when claims of its success have been implicitly, apparently or even explicitly made. The debate against ProfLogic's notions played out here a few years ago. So far as I understood (rightly or wrongly), I thought he subsequently commented that he had ceased selling his system through seminars. Grob (Jack Hershey) sent me a PM asking me not to oppose ProfLogic as he was satisfied with the details of the system ProLogic had sent him. I did not reply and incidentally I have never sent a PM to Grob at any time. My view is that buying any gurus plans or ideas is an utter waste of money. The reason is as simple as it gets. If it is successful you would make your fortune from it and not sell or not want to sell your system/ideas to a gullible public or to noobs also frequently naive and gullible.
Wise words Cheese. Clearly you understand what "edge", "crowding" and "alpha decay" mean from a trader's perspective, at least at an intuitive level. Now watch someone - with possibly ulterior motives - attempt to debate that point of view.
hmmm. Jack Hershey may just be the same as profligic. More evidence surfaces. Whiskey may also be same person.
It was posted. If you missed it, I won't repost it. If you are googly challenged, I can't help that either.
Thank-you for providing such a clear cut example of someone who has diminshed powers of observation. Jack lives in Arizona. Proflogic lives in Ohio. Jack is in his 70's. Proflogic is in his 50's. Jack trades futures based on the Price Volume Relationship on a five minute chart. Proflogic uses the ergodic indicator to trade futures on a constant volume chart. Jack trades Stock Index Futures. Proflogic trades primarily Agricultural Futures. Pattern recognition certainly isn't your strong suit, now, is it? - Spydertrader
The sharing of ideas is one of the fundimentals of life. I freely share in this forum, what I charge for elsewhere. I share here so people can make up their own minds as to the value, or lack of, my method holds for them. Try it and if you find no value, look elsewhere but make that decision on your own through your own effort not an unsubstantiated opinion of someone who's sole purpose is to terrorize. What a concept, a free trial you don't have to pay for if it works. And people find fault in that. It is absolutely no wonder 95% of the individuals that attempt trading fail. It is absolutely no wonder, as well, that the biggest opponents to my method have never attempted a practical application of it. That speaks volumes. I was taught to live a life in the service of others and that act too draws the ire of these same individuals. Imagine that.
I agree. Those effect systems and nature based in a random chaotic environment. That is a fact that I do not dispute but what my method is founded in does not exist in that same environment you trade inside. This is why I stress the need to apply it for yourself to see the differences.
