After 8 Years of Bush and McBush leading our policies, 'Joe Sixpack' will now be known as 'Joe 40 ouncer'.
Wrong. "Back in the day", the reference was Joe Lunchpail, which meant the average working guy. Thanks to Republicans supporting corporations shipping jobs out of the country (first to Mexico, now to China), Joe Lunchpail has turned into Joe Sixpack. Only a Republican would see this as a sign of progress.
Joe Sixpack may not be voting Republican this time around...he might be searching for a JOB! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jOqSQeKsspU&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jOqSQeKsspU&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Hmm, don't know how you'd call it wrong. Especially after you then say that pail became pack. There's always some media type who wants to modernize the lingo of the time. You took it back one gen further. That's cool. I'm sure that too was a morphing. Now where is there a republican who sees this as progress?
