it takes shares off the displayed size (autex like an ecn), but won't work: - over 1000 shares - if the displayed size is 1 - if the spec already gave the shares away but didn't update the size
supposedly automatically executes an order up to 1099 shares against the specialist's book. It is supposed to be instantaneous, but a lot of times these pricks will freeze the book, ignore your NX and give you no fill. most of the times it works, though, but it really pisses me off when my NX is ignored.
