What Interest Rate Does Your Broker Pay?

  1. I have been enjoing IB interest rate indeed. I been out of the mkts the last 2 months... but the dough keeps rolling in through interest rate. :)

  2. If you are out of the market, why not ACH the money to Emigrantdirect.com, you earn full 4%

    ACHing with IB is fast and easy...

  3. Maybe they keep the millions in the stock account so they can brag to thier friends they are beating the market.

  4. Some have said IB pays interest on the entire account value. Which is it? Anyone know for SURE??

  5. those xampoles are wrong i think. i show the bench mark rate of 4.035% on usd which means 10k to 100k is 4.035%-.05 =3.525% and for greater than100k its 4.035% -.025 =3.785%. i have an account with emmigrant and capital one as money market rates are sweet now. i had a very big account with ib and have since cut it down some after refco. nice thing about ib if you ahve good size account you're earning great interest waiting for an opp were's as in money market its 4% thats it
