Most the software that are highly rated are PC only

Any Macs out there happy with theirs?

  2. IB's TWS, Matlab and Excel all work just fine on Macs. Without knowing your needs, there isn't much more to add.

thanks to both. i trade stocks and etfs, am a newcomer and am looking for greater capabilities to the ones offered by my broker's xtream real time quotes, like real time stock screening through algorhythms for instance

I have a Macbook Pro with 28" external monitor. A 30" will be here soon!

With Vmware Fusion 2, I have windows XP on both screens and any software I want to run that does not want fire wire.

Tradestation, Ensign, Ninjatrader all run fine.

    The performance is excellent!
