What if Fed statement is unchanged today?

    Well, it wasn't exactly unchanged, as in every work identical, but it may as well have been!

    As expected,

    "March 21" was changed to "May 9"

    Other changes:

    Recent indicators have been mixed

    changed to:

    Economic growth slowed in the first part of this year

    Recent readings on core inflation have been somewhat elevated.

    changed to:

    Core inflation remains somewhat elevated.


    That's it!! Unless I missed something, those were the only words changed at all, and is there any difference in meaning?

    It's funny to listen to people analyze the Fed's statement when they are saying exactly what they said last time.
