I trade 9-12 and 2-4 during the daylight hours!

  3. I trade depending on what the market is doing... I follow the market front of the computer all day...

I see that two people said so far that they trade outside of normal hours. How do you guys do this? It would seem difficult to pull off from a technical trading, and liquidity standpoint, are you just trading the news or what, I must be missing something?
I would love to be able to go home at night and trade the e-mini so I'm open to suggestions here.

    Thanks

  5. The poll choices look like the shifts at McDonalds - they're not at all in correlation to actual market volume periods. :D

I trade 830-1130 and 130-415 on economic data news days and 940-1130 and 130-415pm otherwise

  6. I know that the my poll hours are not the same as stock trading sessions, but these are the hours I am either at home or at work, or asleep, so I was most interested in hours between 6pm-12pm, but also want to know how is trading during other hours.

  8. yeah if you can walk away with a full point using mkt orders in aht, you are doing fantastic.

Thanks for the update. So I guess there were 6 bids at 907.50 when you went short? What's the average max number you think you can move at the screen price using mkt orders?

  9. the market was breaking upwards when i placed 6 sells.

  10. estrader - Can you please post some details on your trading methodology? It seems like you do very well, so I'm curious to know about your style and strategy.
