I refuted it with the data I presented. It is now your turn to argue how the data I presented doesn't show fiscally irresponsible behavior.

I could also bring up all the examples of waste and fraud that were found in various governmental agencies (vegas trips, etc) that were brought up - that would go against point number 1 specifically, but I prefer to show overall fiscal health.

Let's also not forget the US being downgraded by the S+P for the first time ever in history.

It's ok, RCG. You can admit that you weren't clear of mind when you made that statement. There are many things you could have argued that Obama has done. That, however, was not the best one to lead off with.

  2. The data you presented has nothing to do with the executive branch

A US downgrade was inevitable considered our debt ratio. This has nothing to do with Obama, and you cannot show anything that would refute that.

He began by issuing orders to clean the house he inherited first. You continue to confuse micro and macro. The effects of his macro policy will not be seen for quite some time, and you know this Tsing.

    Try again.

  3. Romney supporters are conservative who are entrenched in the politics of the "other".

They generally lack the level of sophistication needed to even accept the current President, not to mention anything they would want him to do for them.

  4. This is unfortunate, the idea of simply hating the President, just like the Congress stated, instead of common ground on policies. At least when some hated Bush, it was more his horrible, wasteful wars, not just the good old boy himself. Some, yes, everyone, no.

This is a badge of honor.
Speaking for myself, I don't want to live with the mindset of a democrat.
Millions of us still got certain standards of decency and personal freedom, which includes freedom from government.

And before any of you get too excited, I'm not a republican either.

Ah, can you show me all the spending bills that Congress put through and Obama vetoed?

  10. Come on Tsingy baby, you know I am not making the argument that preventing conception is akin to abortion. Read my post. Conception can and does occur with the pill, just very infrequently. The pill's main method of pregnancy prevention is contraception by suppression of ovulation, but ovulation still takes place in 2-10% of women. The pill also causes thinning of the uterine wall, impeding implantation of a fertilized egg. In that rare case the fertilized egg is expelled in the next menstrual cycle. This is why the Catholic Church and pro-life organizations oppose the pill, they consider it a potential abortifacient.

Some consider implantation the beginning of an individual, some consider conception to be the beginning.
