What happens if the S&P goes to 0?

Will something happen? Lets say it drops to 0.

What scenario would you expect. I would venture gold would not longer be trading.

 

I will be a buyer of any company that's solvent and is relevant in today's world at $0.

I'll buy call options and the underlying stock (bull call spread).

 

But if it gets to 0 in means the shit hit the fan. How would you buy stock if you cannot access the market

 

I'd recommend covering short positions.
